Each January since 2011, student journalists from the University of Missouri travel to Costa Rica to explore the environment, nature, agriculture and society. Their assignment is to immerse themselves in field reporting and produce articles, photographs and videos for this website: http://mucostarica.wordpress.com/. Their work is part of the course, “Covering Nature and Society in the Developing World,” which is run jointly by the Missouri School of Journalism and the Science and Agricultural Journalism Program of the MU College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources .
