More Than Just a Pretty Face

I’ve decided south-central Missouri is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. The land has impeccable depth and really inspired my energy today.

Going on the fuel of seven hours of sleep, I found the views to bring me a great amount of motivation. I saw nature in a light I’ve never seen back home. It proves the power of the environment and what positive effects it can have on the human body.

Closing our eyes to take a moment may seem cheesy, but it allowed me to feel in tune with everything we learned. Having my eyes shut and listening to the wood-pecking, buzzing and breeze gave me comfort and aided me in realizing this is my home—I just sometimes need to take a moment to remember.
